Exporting Data
Exporting data from Connexus allows you to save, share, and analyze your information outside the platform. Whether you're creating reports, backing up records, or sharing data with external teams, Connexus supports exporting to three popular formats: CSV, PDF, and Excel.
1. Exporting Data with Filters
When you export data, the system will export all data currently visible in your view. This means you can refine or sort the data using filters within each module before exporting. Whether you need to narrow down data by category, status, or any other criteria, applying filters ensures you only export the information that matters.
- Example: If you're exporting a list of work orders, you can filter the data by status, past due, or priority to export only the relevant entries.
2. Customizing Your View Before Exporting
Connexus also allows you to customize the fields that appear in your export. This means you can choose exactly which data points to include or exclude, making your reports cleaner and more focused on the information you need.
How to Customize Your View:
- Go to the Settings section within any module.
- In the settings menu, you can select which fields to display in your view.
- Deselect any unnecessary fields that you don't want to export.
- After adjusting the view, the next time you export, only the selected fields will appear in the report.
Tips for Exporting Data:
- Refine Data First: Always apply filters to focus on the relevant records you need before exporting.
- Customize Fields: Use the settings to remove unnecessary fields from the export to make your reports cleaner and more relevant.
- Export Frequency: Regularly export data to keep backups or share reports with stakeholders.
