Technicians 

In Connexus we can manage all technicians in one place, this includes both internal and external technicians. 

What do we classify as a Technician?

In Connexus a technician is an individual who performs on field work for your organisation. Examples of technicians could include equipment repairers, cleaners, inspectors and plumbers.

Technician Profiles:

    • Fields: Name, ID, contact info, skillset, certifications, hourly rate, work days, locations.
    • Tracking: We can track the amount of jobs they have completed, their satisfaction scores based on tenant and staff feedback, and their compliance. 
    • Time Tracking: Technicians can log work hours and add start/completion times for job tracking.

Work Order Assignment:

    • Job Assignment Process: We filter and assign right technician for the job based on their skills and location.
    • Mobile Access: For your internal technicians you can provide them access to the mobile app which they can view and update job details on the go. 

Qualifications: Record a technicians qualifications and monitor their expirations dates. Technicians will automatically be suspended from receiving work if their qualifications aren't renewed before the expiry date.

Qualifications Examples: Working in Confined Spaces, Liability Insurances and Working with Children's Check.

Skills: Unlike a qualification a skill doesn't have an expiry date. We can hold all skills a technicians hold within our system. This helps in assigning them jobs based on the trade category of the work order.

Skills Examples: Plumber, Carpenter, Painter and Gardener. 

Technician Fields

ID Number A unique identifier assigned to the technician.
Mobile Number The technician's primary contact phone number.
Email The technician's official email address for communication.
Working Days The specific days the technician is available to work.
Site The primary location where the technician operates.
Building The specific building within the site where the technician works.
Supplier The company or organization that an external technician works under. 
External Technician Indicates if the technician is outsourced or not.
Start Date The date when the technician began working.
Finish Date:  The date when the technician's work or contract ends.
Skills The specific technical competencies the technician possesses.
Qualifications The certifications or formal credentials held by the technician. Qualification's usually have an expiry date and if not renewed will suspend the technician.
